Cannot save direct charge on PO

Bug Description
Found on two different 3.3-beta servers.
I can't add a new direct charge on a PO. When I click "Save New Charges" I get the progress bar indefinitely.
I can add a direct charge as normal on our test 3.2.3 server.

I just tested this on our test 3.6.1 server and it's working fine. Maybe I was having an off day two years ago...
