It would be helpful to be able to add copy alerts from the Manage Alerts modal

To me, "Manage Alerts" implies that it's a one-stop shop for all of the copy alert-related functions. Unfortunately, you can't do a very simple alert-related function on that screen: add an alert. I always find myself clicking on Manage Alerts instead of Add Alerts by mistake; being able to add alerts in the Manage Alerts modal would make that mistake much less frustrating. :-)

I agree with this. Even though I know better, I always click "Manage" in Item Status when wanting to add an alert before remembering I can't do it there.
