Evergreen 3.1

Some patrons do not want to include an email address in their account.

If the email field is just left blank library staff continue to ask the patron for an email address every time the patron comes in. If a fake value is entered in the email field Evergreen will attempt to send email notification resulting in bounces. Staff can indicate through an alert that the patron does not want to give their email but that clutters up the alerts and requires staff to pay attention to the alert when they open the account, rather than just when they notice that the patron has no email entered.

A check box labeled No Email beside the email address field that disabled the email field would resolve this. Ideally there would be something visual in the patron summary as well to indicate that the patron has chosen not to supply an email.
