Item Alerts column not available in Check In column picker

On Checkin screen, Alert Message shows up twice on the column picker. But the new copy Alert is not on the list.

Confirmed in 3.1.2. One of the Alert Message columns displays the Alert Message on the patron record. It would probably be good to label it as such. I wonder if the other is a reference to the deprecated Alert Message on the copy?

Checkin Items - We are seeing two columns named "Alert Message", we are not seeing anything named "Alert Msg".

One of the columns displays the patron alert messages, and one displays the old item alert message from asset.copy. I also don't see how to display the text of the new item alerts in a column, which is what our staff are trying to do.

Bug #1728753 may also be related to this, but that bug mentions "Alert Msg" as a column choice, which I don't see.

The grid data for users and items is added in bulk with some wildcard entries, which is why there are two columns named "Alert Message", one from asset.copy and one from actor.usr.

It looks like it would be possible to specifically break out those entries, and add a better column label for them. The acp alert message should use "Item Alert Message (deprecated))" label like it does

And the item status grid template shows how the new style item alert count and manage button is added to that interface.

I am seeing Alert Message listed only once in the column picker on the Checkin screen.

I'm also seeing Alert Message only listed once now in the column picker on the Check In screen but it looks like it's still the old alert message column. When I check in an item with an alert I get the pop up as expected but the alert message column remains blank. (I also tried checking in an item from a patron who had an alert on their account but still get no value showing in the Alert Message column.)

I concur that the 'Alert Message' in the Check In column picker is the deprecated asset.copy_alert from the old style item alerts.

I also confirmed that the deprecated item 'Alert Message' appears in the experimental Angular Check In screen.

The patron 'Alert Message' field no longer appears in the column picker as it was removed as part of the patron notes consolidation project released in 3.8.
