Create a better workflow for doing multiple MARC Federated Searches

If you want to build a selection list using z39.50 using the MARC Federated Search, it's a bit round-about:

1) Do your search
2) Select the first item you want to add
3) Click Save to selection list
4) Choose the selection list you want to add it to.
5) You end up in the selection list. Navigate all the way back to the MARC Federated Search.
6) Repeat 1-5 for every single item you want to add.

Here's another workflow that can happen:
1) Do your search
2) There is no result for your search
3) Go to New Brief Record, and create a record for your selection list
4) Go back to MARC Federated Search and do your next search.

It would be great to have a workflow that allows repeat MARC Federated Searches, a quick detour to New Brief Record when no z39.50 results appear, and a way to easily get back to MARC Federated Searching.
