Bug Description
Evergreen 3.1
Clicking on the author or added author link in a record in the OPAC or web client OPAC view results in a failed search if the author's name contains a date ($d in the 1XX or 7XX fields of the MARC record). However, if you click on the author link for the same record but do it on the the search results page the search will succeed.
If I click on the author link on the search results page the term it shows in the search box is "author:Mozart Wolfgang Amadeus 1756 1791"
If I click on the author link on the record page the term it shows in the search box is "author:Mozart Wolfgang Amadeus1756 1791"
I suspect the search failure is caused by the missing space between Amadeus and 1756 when clicking on the author or added author link from the record.
I'm seeing this bug on our 3.1 test servers and MassLNC's community server. I'm not seeing this bug on any of the 3.0 OPACs I've tested.

Working branch user/jeffdavis/ lp1766379- author- link-broken- search inserts a space between query terms when building author links, which seems to fix the issue:
