This is a critical field for our libraries. We have it display by default in the staff client and often refer to it whenever a problem with a hold occurs. For example, from time to time, a hold slip will print without patron contact information. We check staff hold? field, so we can determine if the patron unchecked their contact information when they placed the hold or staff did in error.

Hi Pam,

I agree on the need for the Staff Hold column in this list, but I also wanted to point to a potential workaround that Tina Ji mentioned in this bug - https://bugs.launchpad.net/evergreen/+bug/1705133/comments/7

In 3.7 and 3.9 there is a column for Requestor Username which can be used to determine if it's a staff or patron placed hold.
