web client: batch check in from item status can lead to rapid-fire hold/transit popups

Bug Description

The item status screen provides an action that allows the user to check in items in batch. If some of the items being checked in need to be routed to the holds shelf or another library, the hold/transit popups appear in rapid-fire succession, making it difficult for the user to respond to each of them in an orderly succession.

In the xul client, a new popup wouldn't appear until the user had already dealt with the previous popup.

I'll add that sometimes, there are a lot more slips that need to be acknowledged than what the user can see hanging on the screen (until you acknowledge the slips on top of them).
