Default SMS Carrier in Web Staff Client does not reflect reality

Web Staff Client
While editing a patron in Web staff client, "Default SMS Carrier" just displays "Select a Carrier" regardless of actual setting.
Patron's "Default SMS Carrier" is correctly displayed in OPAC and old staff client.

We're seeing this problem as well.
Patrons that already had a carrier set prior to our upgrade are now showing "Select a Carrier" when opening them in the web client edit screen. Logging into the OPAC shows the carrier as it should.
When I edit and re-save the carrier in the web client, it then shows up as it should after that for that patron.
