This was an easily done task in the XUL client, as I used to do it occasionally for our branches, particularly if they received duplicate copies of Children's magazines, because the more copies available for the kids, the better.

I just tested this in both my current catalog, and on https://festivus.evergreencatalog.com/eg/staff and I believe it is still possible, but not as intuitively as it was before. In XUL I would select the distribution I wanted, choose the March 2021 issue and add another issuance to get another March 2021 issuance to check in.

In the current versions, if you wanted another copy of March 2021, you can go to Serials > Manage Subscriptions > Manage Issues and select the FEBRUARY 2021 issue, and choose Add following issue from the Actions menu, and it creates another March 2021 issue alongside the one that was already predicted.

I have not tested this on a record which has multiple distributions or streams, so I do not know what it would do if you tried this on a record that does, but it does work on a simple subscription.

EG 3.9.1

In response to Christy's comment, I tested her steps for adding additional units for subscriptions with multiple distributions as follows:

I created a subscription with two distributions (each with one stream)
I selected one issuance and selected "Add following issue" from the Actions menu
Two additional issuances were generated, one for each distribution

I created a subscription with one distribution and two streams
I selected one issuance and selected "Add following issue" from the Actions menu
Two additional issuances were generated, one for each stream

Finally, I created a subscription with two distributions, each with two streams
I selected one issuance and selected "Add following issue" from the Actions menu
Four additional issuances were generated, one for each distribution/stream pair

I'm not sure what the expected behavior should be in this instance. Unless it is likely that multiple extra copies would be received, I'm not sure that generating multiple new units would be desirable.
