Invalidate Phone Number Produces Required Message

Bug Description
In the Web Client, after clicking on Invalidate in the Daytime Phone field, the field turns yellow and the characters disappear. When trying to save, we receive a "Please enter valid value for all required fields" error. The record, sans phone number, does save properly. We feel that this action should not produce such an error as it does not in XUL. We are at 2.12.

I see the behavior you described, but I see the same behavior in the XUL client. See the screencast at https:/ /drive. google. com/file/ d/0B74gDMUDwDXq OWFGdUxSWmRMRDg /view.
I think the intended workflow here is that the invalidate button automatically saves the record, and staff therefore should not click Save if that is the only change made to the record. However, I didn't see any documentation on this feature, and I could be wrong.
