Bug Description
Eg 2.11.
Steps to trigger:
Bring up a patron with over 100 items checked out.
View the Items Out.
Click a column to sort(I chose title, but any one will do)
The following appears (the numbers will, of course, reflect your example):
WARNING: Only 13 out of 103 rows in this list have been retrieved for immediate viewing. Sorting this list requires that all these rows be retrieved, and this may take some time and lag the staff client. Would you like to proceed?
Click OK.
What happened:
The staff client will either stick on 'retrieving' for items not in those displayed for immediate viewing or will lock up entirely.
What I expected to happen:
The list would have sorted eventually.
As a work around, if I scroll through the items prior to sorting, forcing the rows in the list that are not displayed to load, then I can sort just fine.
I did see bug 1615129, which sounds similar, but for the OPAC.
This has been reported in the PaILS consortium after upgrading to 2.11.
