Bug Description

Hello, I would like the Northwest Regional Library System added to the organization acknowledgments page for 2.8 and 2.9. They fund part of my salary so I think they should get a mention for the work I've authored, along with Lake Agassiz Regional Library System. Please let me know if this is an acceptable practice.

Thanks
Josh

As far as I know it is common practice to give credit to your employer in the acknowledgements. I hope that with the Git permissions you have, you should be able to make these changes yourself.

Thanks Yamil, is it just a matter of updating the "docs/RELEASE_NOTES_2_8.txt" file... or is there something under "docs/RELEASE_NOTES_NEXT" that needs to be updated?

Hi Josh,

At this point, the RELEASE_NOTES_NEXT directory will be used for notes for the 2.next release. Any updates to release notes can be made directly to the appropriate docs/RELEASE_NOTES_2_ . However, I also want to add a note that while any additions to those files will appear in the docs.evergreen-ils.org version of the notes as soon as the overnight documentation process runs, the notes available from the downloads page need to be manually updated before the changes will appear. I usually ask somebody in IRC to do the updates when I need to make changes to the notes.

I pushed updates to rel_2_8, rel_2_9 and master. I'm fine with the changes only showing up on the docs site for now, the next point release in October is soon enough for getting the download page release notes updated. Thanks for the help.
