When requesting a password reset it is a good idea to require the user to enter their email to prevent annoying messages. If the setting to require the email match is set though, the case must also match. This has no practical application (especially since it's frequently entered by library staff and not the patron themselves) and only serves to prevent otherwise legitimate requests from being sent because users likely don't enter their email IN ALL CAPS, AS LIBRARY CLERKS HAVE BEEN TRAINED SINCE TIME IMMEMORIAL.
