Deleting an item while in Serials Control View does not update the basic summary display in tpac. When the fix for <a href="https://bugs.launchpad.net/evergreen/+bug/1078593">bug 1078593</a> is in place, we will be able to work around this by deleting the issuance, but I expect many users will just delete the item with the expectation that the summary statement will update. |

Deleting the last item for an issuance while in Serials Control View does not update the basic summary display in tpac. With the fix for bug 1078593, we were able to work around this by problem in the XUL client by deleting the issuance. However, the web client no longer offers a way to delete the issuance.
The deletion of a serial item should also delete the linked copy in the asset.copy table.
