MARC expert search not retrieving 022 searches correctly

Bug Description
MARC expert search of field 022 does not retrieve records for searches of complete ISSN. Observing problem in both 2.6 and 2.7 versions
For example, in gapines.org 022 subfield a 0272-2003 returns zero results. Searching 022 subfield a 0272 retrieves 17 results including ISSN 0272-2003 (Southern Living annual recipes).
Also tried searching without dash: 0272 2003 and 02722003 retrieve no results. 022 |a search of just 2003 returns no results
Also same behavior for ISSN 1938-4831

I've seen this problem with special (outside of A-Z, 0-9) characters in general for MARC expert search since upgrading from 2.4 to 2.7. Marking as confirmed.
(Note that searching the identifier|issn: index would likely be a better, faster approach to achieve the same goal for this specific example, but that doesn't negate the fact that MARC Expert Search has a serious bug).
