Bug Description

The mod_deflate log that's created by the default Evergreen Apache configuration is useful only for debug purposes, and otherwise consumes disk space. It also isn't compressed by (default) logrotate configurations. It may as well go.

Sounds like a reasonable bug fix to me. Pushed to master, backported to rel_2_6 and rel_2_5. Thanks Galen!
