Evergreen version 2.4.6 and 2.5.2
(Similar to the scoping configuration mentioned in #1287309)
Currently, there is not a way to configure preferred Acquisitions Search Fields. Depending on how the user accesses the Acquisitions Search feature; each option contains its own predefined search fields.
Acquisitions -> General Search
Acquisitions -> Purchase Orders
Acquisitions -> Open Invoices
However, these fields are not currently configurable by the library to accommodate search preferences. For example, in Purchase Orders, the default Ordering Agency is scoped to the workstation’s library. However, a system that creates centralized POs might want the default to scope out to the system level. Also, a library may prefer to search PO ID (not PO State).
It would be quite helpful and time saving for libraries to have the ability to set Acquisitions Search preferences.
Thank you! |
