Bug Description
*EG master
Hypothetical MARC with the following:
245 1 0. ‡aDecade / ‡cAll selections written by Neil Young
This will show up in the search results with the title "Decade", but searching for "title:^Decade$" does not find it.
This will cause confusion for patrons, as the title is clearly shown in the results without the forward slash.

I was unable to reproduce this issue on EG 2.9.1. I used your hypothetical MARC record and was able to find it by searching for the query you mentioned. I also tried a few other searches and was not able to see any difference between 245$a with or without trailing punctuation marks.
