Bug Description

Hello,

After upgrade from 6.10 to 7.04 I'm experiencing problems with my DVD.
1. In syslog there are many such messages:
"Jun 18 19:46:34 doman kernel: [ 642.543000] hdc: cdrom_pc_intr: The drive appears confused (ireason = 0x01). Tryin
g to recover by ending request."

2. Sometimes when there is no DVD in the drive, my kubuntu suddenly tries to "mount" it and detects "audio CD" (nonexistant).
It shows an icon of audio CD on desktop. It is very hard to open the drive after this because it is locked. KwikDisk or manual umount /dev/hdc helps with that error. The umount of course says that there is no CD in the drive, shows error message and unlocks drive.

My configuration:
Kubuntu 7.04 with newest kernel.
Asus A6B00R laptop.
