Vandelay defines a limited number of subfields

Bug Description

There are only 10 subfields that have been defined in the Holdings Subfield drop-down menu in the Acquisitions Provider record. These are used to supply order data and item/copy data when importing bibliographic records using Vandelay. There appear to be at least two other subfields in the copy/item records that are not included, and that are necessary to create a completed item/copy record. Missing subfields include:
* Part Designation
* Statistical categories

There may be others that I am not aware of.

Just a note that it would also be useful to use these fields in the "Holdings Import Profiles" in Vandelay proper (i.e. MARC Batch Import/Export).

It looks like the MARC Batch Import/Export portion of this bug has been addressed by the following two bugs (included in 2.9 and 2.10, respectively):

What is required to get Stat Cats and Parts support in the Acq Provider template? The Holding Subfield select list is hard-coded in the template (conify/global/acq/provider.tt2), and I haven't dug deeper to see where those values are processed.
