Bug Description

The authorization prompt that used to pop up when a timed-out user tried to access the catalog in EI 2.1 no longer appears since the upgrade to 2.2 . As a result, users don't know they've timed out until they try to place a hold and are forwarded to the My Account login screen instead of the Place Hold screen.

All other EI 2.2 functions still prompt a timed-out user for authorization as soon as they try to use the function (Check In, Check Out, Item Status, etc.). Only the Catalog seems to have lost its prompt.

Can it be restored?

Amanda,

Just a note -- please don't refer to Evergreen ILS as "EI" on the public bug tracker. This is for Evergreen ILS, as a whole, not just Evergreen Indiana.

Other folks might not know what you are referring to when using "EI".

Thanks,
Mike Peters
