Bug Description
Evergreen Version 2.2
TPAC displays a copies twice when a copy had parts and was moved to another bib. When a member library transferred copy with parts from one bib to another this situation was created.
The library had sets from 2 series, and some of the volumes (i.e., items with parts) were initially put on the wrong record and had to be moved over to the right record. Those items already had parts assigned to them, and the parts are technically associated with the bibliographic record, so when the items transferred, the MFHD/volume/Call Number and the item transferred, but the item kept its assignment to the part of the original bibliographic record. As a result, the items were associated with 2 parts (1 from the original record, and 1 from the new record). This made the item show twice in the OPAC (though both on the new bibliographic record).
I think this might be a duplicate of https:/ /bugs.launchpad .net/evergreen/ +bug/904472. I'll hold off on marking it as a duplicate until you have a chance to look at it, but does this look like the same issue?
