Bug Description

Binary package hint: euca2ools

$ euca-get-console-output i-51F80895 ; echo $?
DefaultJavaComponent: Can't find registered object: i-51F80895 in VmInstances
1
$ euca-get-console-output i-51F80895 >/dev/null ; echo $?
1

The error message should have gone to stderr. This can be a problem for programs that invoke the tools, see bug 559244 as an example.

A fairly major rewrite of the euca-* tools is coming up that should solve this problem.
