cpu usage even when minimized

Bug Description
seems etude alway have the same cpu usage whether minimiz to system tray or not. always about 0.5%-1% of 800mhz.
hope to reduce it even if it's not much, cause i want to use etude as notificaion daemon.
and the startup speed is a bit slow, i remembered it use to be faster than this.
PS: i am using the latest hg version. archlinux
