no picture, blank screen

Bug Description

the program starts, i can search youtube but when a video is started, there's the sound (of the started video) but no picture. I mean there's no picture at all, just a blank screen. If you hit alt-f4, the program closes and it can be started again (though with no difference).

elementaryOS "Luna" in use, ATI Mobility X1600 (rv530 using the r300g driver).

I have the same problem. I'm using "Luna" on an Intel quad core with Nvidia GT9400 card.

It happened to me as well on a fresh install with all the upgrades done. AcerAspireRevo with Nvidia (drivers installed). BUT it works absolutely fine on my netbook ASUS EEE pc 1000H. The application is great!

I ran an update yesterday and it seems to be working fine now. Not sure of the changes, though.

Update: I have installed the ubuntu-restricted-extras and it works absolutely fine now.
