There isn't enough information about winning the race

You should see more information while in a race. You can see the needed herring amounts and time limit when you are choosing a race, but you should also see then in-game.

There could be also some extended information like:
- How many herrings there are available on the race
- How many more herrings you can miss before losing
- How much time you have left

I downloaded the SVN you linked, but couldn't find the features I explained in the bug report. Maybe you misunderstood my request. I want to see the information while racing.

No, I think I've understood you - or at least I hope :)

It's definitely in SVN - please see the attached screenshot - there's how much time you've left to win the race (when it reaches 0, it turns red) and how many herrings you have to collect.
Is this enough or you really wanted something else?

Ok, that is what I wanted.. But why can't I see them? I downloaded the code from Bazaar and SF svn, but there isn't that feature on either on. Can you point me where to get the newest code?

Current development code is located at Sourceforge.net's SVN. Launchpad's Bazaar is only a mirror.
You have probably mixed up an older version with newer.
Please check the following:
1) You run SVN version (either from src directory, or from the path it's been installed)
2) Your data directory is set properly in ~/.etracer/options
