I haven't been able to test if 60 hearings is even possible, since I'm affected with bug #239121.

Okay... after several trials I have managed to end the course with 02:57:77 and exactly 60 herrings. Well, it is possible to collect more than 60 but anyway, the whole course is really hard.
I asked my two friends to try it, but they haven't even managed to exceed 10 herrings.

To everyone - please try playing Challenge One and post feedback here.

After a few hours and knowing the course by heart I managed to make 2:37.21 and 63 herrings. But If this is Challenge One, I don't wanna know what the other challenges will bring...

Based on this reports I would suggest the following:

A) Requirements:
Time - 180 seconds
Herrings - 50

B) Description
-removal of the line encouraging to collect over 60 herrings.

I have the feeling there about 70 to collect if you chose the right path every time. So 50 would allow to miss a few, sound oké. And three minutes is challenging enough since you can't effort a lot of mistakes. So, green light from me.

This fix still hasn't made it to extremetuxracer (Ubuntu).

This is due to the fact that there is still no ExtremeTuxRacer release with the fix available. When it will be the case I'll update the package for Jaunty and backport it to Intrepid.
