Bug Description

When I start etracer from console I get

%%% etracer warning: Warning: Couldn't set 44100 Hz 16-bit audio
  Reason: Couldn't set audio channels

I'm running 0.4 on Hardy with a USB headset. Audio works in all other tested apps.

Output of `cat /proc/asound/cards`

 1 [Audio ]: USB-Audio - USB Audio
                      USB Audio at usb-0000:00:1a.0-1, full speed

Please check the Audio Configuration - e.g. try lowering the frequency to 22050 Hz or bit samples to 8 and report the results back here.

Please also check if other SDL apps work (eg. Secret Maryo Chronicles, Wesnoth...)
