Bug Description
EqualX uses ~/.equalx for bookmarks, history, and library.db files.
Could EqualX implement the XDG Base Directory Specification standard for Linux? The usual solution is to stuff everything under $XDG_CONFIG_HOME though the library.db file might better be split off into $XDG_DATA_HOME.
Alternatively, allowing the settings directory to be configurable from the Settings > Advanced screen or set via an environment variable would also fulfill the underlying need to keep the HOME dir clear.
