Bug Description

Currently, epoptes server receives some notifications from clients (user logged on/off, computer turned on/off). I wonder if I could send some arbitrary notifications from clients to server (namely, I want to execute some command remotely and get notified from clients the returned output of the command).
Is it currently possible in epoptes?"

I converted the question into a bug report. :)
No, that's not currently possible without hacking the sources a bit, but it's a good idea (I think we have it on the roadmap) to develop a command-line tool to control the clients, and even gather feedback from them.
It might be implemented for the next Ubuntu LTS version (currently the communication channel is not reentrant so it's not very easy to get it implemented, it requires a few changes).
