Backend doesn't exit cleanly

At the moment the only way to stop the backend process is to kill it. A command line option needs to be introduced to enable the backend to be stopped and possibly restarted. Additional functionally could be added to the tray icon to allow the backend to be stopped/restarted also.

I've killed the backend process enough times to confirm this with a high degree of certainty :).

I've been working on this, and it's becoming a bigger issue than can be completed in a week. I'm going to push this out, and start working on a blueprint for it. There are some other changes that should be added along with this, so I think it's probably a good idea to implement in this same branch.

This is semi-fixed now but I still get an error if I exit entertainer straight after starting it.

Those errors are almost certainly because of all the threading craziness that is happening. I'd guess this will start going away as we reduce the threading by switching to twisted.
