Bug Description
With recent FUSE versions(?), it's possible to write to read-only files. Doesn't happen in FUSE example programs.
Probably changes in FUSE have invalidated the permissions workarounds that used to be necessary to allow programs like tar to work.
This does not appear to happen in FUSE's example programs.
