Does not start on Ubuntu 14.10

EMPCommand does not start on Ubuntu 14.10. It looks like it does not work with libavg 1.8. After a bit of digging, it fails because it tries to import GameApp from libavg, which does not exist anymore.

The issue affects 14.04 as well. The fix is available upstream (https://github.com/libavg/mtc-emp_command) and in lp:empcommand (imported from the old r/o svn repo).
Anybody willing to package? My packaging workflow is totally broken..

The bug has been properly addressed and fixed upstream with release v1.0 ( https://github.com/libavg/mtc-emp_command/releases/tag/v1.0 ).
Code hosting has meanwhile moved from self-hosted svn to github and the current lp:empcommand is now properly re-linked.
Ubuntu packaging branch, hosted on launchpad ( lp:~libavg-team/empcommand/packaging ) cannot merge properly from the new trunk, I'm waiting for an answer here: https://answers.launchpad.net/launchpad/+question/263688
