broken package in ubuntu-Karmic

I have installed the ppa of empathy in my sources.list :

deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/telepathy/ubuntu karmic main

Now, apt-get update/distupgrade wants to remove empathy :

The following packages will be REMOVED:
  empathy

The reason is the following :
