empathy crashed with SIGSEGV in empathy_roster_group_get_widgets()

I wanted to close the application , so I clicked on quit in the menu and it said the contact list is not responding . I left it as it is and after about a minute or two , I got the message that emapthy has crashed. I am using fully updated Ubuntu Quantal Beta 1.
