Make sure that the correct libraries always are loaded

Installed using the ember-0.5.5.x86.package, distro: LFS

Setup screen goes fine, loading goes fine until just past 50%, stuck on "Parsing Scripts"

If I start ember with

"export LD_LIBRARY=/usr/lib/ember && export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/lib/ember && /usr/bin/.proxy.ember.bin --homedata /home/oipo/.ember"

It starts fine. Strange.

It seems to hang when loading CEGUI. Do you have a locally installed version of CEGUI which it might pick up by mistake?
When you run it in the hanged state, could you post the list of libraries loaded? You can get that from looking in the file /proc/<pid>/maps

Yes indeed, it is loading my locally installed CEGUI.

Ok, this is an autopackage bug then. Not much we can do about it. There has been a couple of new releases of Autopackage since we did the 0.5.5 release, so perhaps is has been fixed.

It might also work for you if you install the .package for your user only, instead of globally.

Hmm, it might be something we might be able to fix after all if we would alter the ember startup script. I'll leave it open and take a look at it.
