No in game options.

Almost every MMORPG I have ever played will, when the escape key is pressed, display a menu of some sort allowing the player typical options such as modifying video or audio properties, logging out or exiting, and modifying movement and control keys.

Ember has none of these. There may be a manual somewhere that details all the keys, but frankly I think if you need to read the manual just to exit the client properly then the client is a bit poor.

It's not a lot of code to add.

Down to the left there are a couple of icons. One of these icons, the one with a question mark on it, will bring up manual.
Another one of these icons, one with a cog one it, will bring up the options menu.

The icons were hidden behind the Windows toolbar and not visible.

Is this project still active? The community forums website is utterly and completely broken, and the last post that I can see was in December 2013!

It's nice to see someone is around - thanks for getting back on this so fast.

The project is very much still active. But we don't use the forums. We prefer to use our mailing list and IRC. The forums are just there because we found that some people had trouble getting used to communicating through mailing lists, and we wanted to provide an easier way for them to get help.
