2012-10-06 13:10:12 keldo description I am on Ubuntu 12.04 x86_64. This is the third time it has happened in the last week or two, the most recent being a half hour ago. When it happens I have to follow your instructions to remove all traces of emacs23 completely and reinstall emacs24. After that, I install emacs-goodies-el. Can you let me know what's going on? Let me know if you need any more information. Thanks. I am on Ubuntu 12.04 x86_64. This is the third time it has happened in the last week or two, the most recent being a half hour ago.
