Tab title doesn't change to reflect module text selected

Bug Description

I noticed recently that when a tab is opened with a certain text, the tab's title doesn't change even if the Bible Text is switched within the tab. It doesn't seem like this would be a "feature," so I'm assuming that it's a bug.

Also, I sent this as an email from within Eloquent, and it bounced:

The response from the remote server was:

554 5.7.1 <email address hidden>: Relay access denied

God bless.

Hi Vince.
I'm not certain which version you are using.
In any case, development has moved to GitHub: https://github.com/mdbergmann/Eloquent

Hi Manfred,

I'm using the latest (according to the "check for update" option)
version, 2.5.1/2486. If that's out of date, I'd really like to get up to
speed. I use Eloquent as my main Bible app and while I'm not a developer
in any sense of the word, I'll do whatever I can to help the project.

Hi Vince.

The current version is 2.6.0.
It can be downloaded here: https://github.com/mdbergmann/Eloquent/releases

There were a few beta releases, but nonetheless you should treat it with care, meaning backup all your stuff.
I'd appreciate getting some more test results.

Regards,
Manfred

Ok, excellent, the issue I was seeing is resolved in this build.

Question: is reordering/dragging-dropping the tabs going to be a feature
at some point? Also, might RTF support be added to personal commentaries?

Possibly, I'll add it as feature request.
RTF is indirectly supported, if you edit the 'conf' file of the personal commentary module.

Hi Manfred,

Is there a reason why the "switch tab" hotkeys are not functional for
me?

Also, it would be awesome to be able to use Cmd-1, Cmd-2, etc. to switch
between tabs. I don't know if that's something that could be implemented
easily, but I'd vote for that feature.

Another thing, I saw the .conf file, but I couldn't determine what
needed to be changed. I'll probably look at editing in USFM and
exporting to OSIS/SWORD instead for an inline commentary.

Thanks

Hi Vince.

I believe this is the new macOS tab feature, which also adds some menu items.
Since Eloquent uses a custom tab bar, this is not directly supported.
I can have a look if we can hook in to those menu commands.

I’ll have a look at tab switching.

Regarding the .conf file, here is a description of all available conf entries:
http://wiki.crosswire.org/DevTools:conf_Files
The one you are looking for is „Direction“.
