In Pikeo plugin when pressed slideshow effect button , it effects play/pause button

When in Pikeo plugin ,played slideshow of any menu like Most Viewed or search, it seems that pressing slideshow effect button causes Play/Pause button to change(i.e if state of button is play it changes to pause and vice-versa),so in effect it causes slideshow to stop.Right now not observing this issue for any other image plugin or local photos.Issue happening on both linux and windows.Please find log file attached.

Steps to reproduce:

1.Launch Moovida
2.Goto Internet Media->Image->Pikeo
3.Goto Most viewed
4.Press play button ,slideshow starts
5.Press Slideshow effect button

Current Result : Switches pause button into play button and stops slideshow.

Expected Result : Slideshow should continue playing .

Sudesh, can you confirm that the steps to reproduce are complete?
If I go to the "most viewed" pictures of Pikeo and press Enter/OK on a given picture, it launches the picture player but _doesn't_ start the slideshow.
Then if I manually start it, clicking the effects button doesn't pause it.

Yes the steps to reproduce are complete .I can reproduce it here quiet often(though not 100% times).It seems that loading of pictures in pikeo does take time and then only it causes this problem .Under similar conditions I find that Flickr/DeviantArt load pictures very fast(i.e when I enter any option of flickr or deviantart find that thumbnails in grid view generated instantly , on the other hand in pikeo thumnails in grid view for some photos are not generated or take time to generate).So the stack trace in log occurs only when the photos are slow in loading in pikeo(under similar conditions there is no problem for flickr/deviantart).

I still cannot reproduce, pressing the effects button doesn't toggle play/pause.
However if I browse fast to the end of the grid and open a picture for which no thumbnail has been generated yet, the image is not correctly displayed. My guess is that thumbnailing requests are not cancelled.

This bug is kind of equivalent for image plugins what the bug https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/338187 is for video plugins .In image plugins(specially pikeo) the play/pause button do not work when the loading of photo takes lot of time.In addition during slow loading the pressing of slideshow effect button causes play/pause button to toggle.
