2017-11-25 01:03:07 Derick description Looking at the gray text in welcome screens such as [this one](https://imgur.com/B3OTCYN) where it says "Add a printer to begin printing" and in the gray box where it says "Search for the printer you need" is very low in contrast, and causes eye strain. I have to squint in order to read that text, and it hurts my eyes a bit. In addition, the gray text in the "All Settings" button, and with the fact that the button is the same color as the header bar, makes it look like the button is grayed out and unavailable, even though it's not. However, if you go to the search bar on the other side as it shows in the picture, that IS grayed out because it's unavailable. An article from the NN/g I read that talks about low contrast text is a good read: https://www.nngroup.com/articles/low-contrast/ Looking at the gray text in welcome screens such as this one: https://imgur.com/B3OTCYN where it says "Add a printer to begin printing" and in the gray box where it says "Search for the printer you need" is very low in contrast, and causes eye strain.
