Internationalization of folder names in user home folder

Internationalization of the folder names is incomplete. When installing language after install users are greeted with a choice to rename folders that does its job. The problem is after that a "Desktop" folder appears in the user's home without any reason.
I tried to set XDG_DESKTOP_DIR="$HOME" in the ~/.config/user-dirs.dirs file to prevent this, which used to work in past versions, without success.

Some other folders in the user space aren't translated. I think of "Pictures/Screenshots" and "Pictures/Webcam".
