Tiled windows have no pixel separation

Bug Description
When tiling windows by dragging to opposite sides of the screen, the windows blend into each other. I would like to be able to set a distance between the windows. It is particularly noticeable with firefox browser windows.
If this is not considered a bug, please can someone post a workaround i.e. a config file I can change.
