Jumbled Background

Waking the PC from suspension resulted in this mess: (See attached image)

I have tried changing the desktop wallpaper, but does not fix the problem. The new wallpaper shows in multitasking view, but not in regular desktop view. The multitasking background also has this jumbled texture. Furthermore, the rounded corners on each corner of the screen also has this jumbled look to them.

I have also experienced this issue on Gnome Shell on a different PC (A Lenovo Yoga 710 laptop) where the desktop background and some UI elements look jumbled and broken. This could be an issue with graphics drivers, but I am not too sure.

Restarting the session by logging out and logging back in or restarting the computer fixes the issue.
