Have to delete .Xauthority before every login

Bug Description
A very annoying issue, I have to log in via a TTY Terminal and delete ~/.Xauthority before I can log in.
Any attempt to log in without deleting results in me being stuck with only a wallpaper, the only way to get out of it is to run "sudo service lightdm restart".
