Bluetooth lost after last update (6 Jan 2017)

Bug Description

After the last system update Bluetooth service shows "Inactive (dead)" and I cannot restart it, either using Terminal or via Preferences.
Computer is 2011 Macbook Pro (Dual-Core Intel)
Everything else works, but none of the online solutions has any effect.

Any updates in the mean time? Could you try running some of the commands I mention in the following post?

I'm curious whether the device shows up in `rfkill list` for example.

Bluetooth seems to be OK after the next update. I have not had a problem since.
