WiFi is not enabled upon enabling hardware switch

Bug Description
Steps to recreate:
1. Connect to WiFi Network.
2. Turn off hardware WiFi switch
3. Turn on hardware WiFi switch
At this point, I expected WiFi to be re-enabled, but it is not.
Furtheremore, it cannot be reenabled by pressing the wireless toggle under the wifi menu.
The only way to reenable it is to open "Network Settings" and press the toggle there.
