Touch screen not working after sleep Dell XPS 13

The touch screen works fine from a cold boot, but after the OS sleeps and wakes it no longer works until the next cold boot, don't know what logs to include?

Can you confirm this works with Gnome desktop or another distribution?

I cannot, I'm not willing to experiment on my main laptop.
