Bug Description
I just noticed that following files in /etc/apt/
-elementary.list-
deb http://
deb-src http://
-patches.list-
deb http://
deb-src http://
Which needs to be updated as follows,
-elementary.list-
deb http://
deb-src http://
-patches.list-
deb http://
deb-src http://
Here's the 'apt update' error before the fix,
---

This brought updates for many pantheon-specific stuff.
If this is common for other users too, they might be missing future updates from Elementary not even knowing so.

Same on my laptop running elementary os "Hera". The only diff is that file
/etc/apt/
is correct and no <hera> mentioned in the deb sources...
I have updated
/etc/apt/
/etc/apt/
/etc/apt/
and it works. No more nasty popup at the update of elementary os that some sources are wrong

This bug is very bad as it spoils/ruins all work of the Elementary OS team. Impact => Any installed OS just never get updates...
On my opinion, it must be fixed asap. Note, After my manual fix of the files as explained above I got 45 components updated! Surprise, I do apply updates every few days and I never suspect that messages about some "missing PPA" were just about all Elementary OS stuff... I'm new to PPA but now lessons learned.

Issue already solved according to EOS team. See https:/
as of a fresh install of 5.1 (hera) as of March 7, 2020, this issue is still outstanding.
"hera: needed to be replaced with "bionic" in the following 4 source lists:
/etc/apt/ sources. list sources. list.d/ elementary. list sources. list.d/ patches. list sources. list.d/ appcenter. list
/etc/apt/
/etc/apt/
/etc/apt/
